Faster remote desktop connections with FreeNX

Used this great TS in the past. Current frustrations:

I am running F/C 5 on a first generation Mac Mini. I have the server side installed and running from source rpms just fine.Problem is I have to also install the NX Client back end to enable full capability (remote login) of the FreeNX server. Currently there are no binary PPC rpms for NX Client (back end); no source RPMS, and absolutely NO SOURCE tarballs for the PPC platform that compile on the current GCC 4.01. I have been posting for a while in the FreeNX newsgroup and have arrived at this conclusion. Bottom line, if you attempt to run FreeNX on linux (PPC platform); currently you will not be able to fully enable FreeNX or even the commercial variant. This is REALLY sad!
